Most known for his afro, Ray Toro is the 6’1” guitar shredding mastermind of My Chemical Romance. One of our favorite stories about Ray: When he was in junior high, he stuck a piece of Runts candy up his nose to impress a girl. It ended up getting stuck in his nose, and he had to go to the nurse to get it removed. He, Gerard and Mikey went to the same high school, but Gerard and Ray didn’t hit it off until an Iron Maiden concert.
